Congratulations on your child's selection to an All-State organization! This selection is a most prestigious honor. Review the following information about attending the 2008 TMEA Clinic/Convention.

Directions/Parking
The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is located in downtown San Antonio, Texas. All-State concerts are held in the convention center. Click here for directions to the convention center. From Thursday-Saturday, free parking with shuttle service will be available at the Alamodome Lot C. Click here for details.

Student Housing
All-State student housing is reserved by TMEA and is assigned via housing requests submitted by the students' directors upon their selection to an All-State organization. Every effort is made to place students from the same school together in a hotel room; however, this is not always possible given the number of All-State students available from a school. Parents can make alternate housing arrangements; however, TMEA encourages students to stay in TMEA blocked housing as sharing a room with other All-State musicians is part of the overall experience for the student.

Family Housing
Given the number of hotels that TMEA arranges for All-State students, TMEA members and exhibitors, TMEA is not able to block housing for parents who plan to attend. We suggest that you use any available online reservation system to locate housing (e.g., Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.). To help your planning, consult the concert schedule included below.

Concert Schedule
All-State concerts occur throughout the day on Saturday, February 16 in the convention center. Click here for the concert schedule.

Concert tickets
Each All-State student will receive four tickets to their All-State performance in advance of the convention. Because of the number of students involved, no more than four tickets can be provided to any family, regardless of circumstance. Non-ticket holders are allowed entrance 10 minutes prior to a performance, if seating is available.

Convention Badges
Entrance to concerts does not require a convention badge. However, entrance to the Exhibit Halls does require a badge. Before going to the exhibit halls, obtain your complimentary family badges at the registration area Clinicians/Family registration booth. Performance Recording Sales
All-State concerts are recorded and available on CD and DVD. After convention, go to www.MarkCustom.com to order a CD and DVD of your child's performance.
