All-State Schedules

The convention mobile app features the full All-State student rehearsal and concert schedule. Tap the “All-State Schedules” button and select an ensemble to view the details.

All-State Concert Information

All-State concerts are held on the Saturday of the TMEA Clinic/Convention and are free to attend. Consider heavy traffic, parking, shuttle wait time/walk time, and the 1.3-million-square-foot convention center navigation time when you plan your travel. You will walk a lot. Wear comfortable shoes and layers to help you remain comfortable in the wide range of temperatures throughout the center. View the All-State concert schedule.

All-State Concert Tickets: Each All-State student will receive a set of four concert tickets along with their convention badge on Wednesday. To use these tickets, please arrange to meet your student outside of rehearsal times. Only four tickets are provided per student, and lost tickets cannot be replaced. Note: ATSSB, TCCBDA, and TCCDA concerts do not require tickets.

Concert ticket holders are allowed entry before non-ticket holders. For concerts in Lila Cockrell Theatre and Stars at Night Ballroom, attendees may line up no earlier than 1.5 hours before the concert start.

Convention Badges

A convention badge is not required for concert entry. However, we encourage you to explore the incredible exhibit hall, which does require a badge. Pick up your free All-State family badge at the Visitor registration booth. Note: Family badges do not grant access to the priority ticket line for All-State concerts.

Performance Recordings

No personal recordings are allowed during any concert. Professional recordings of All-State concerts are available through Mark Custom Recordings. To order, visit MarkCustom.com after the convention, or place an order with representatives on-site.

All-State Student Housing

All-State student housing is reserved by TMEA and is assigned via housing requests submitted by the students’ directors the week following the Band/Vocal Area auditions in January.

Family Housing

TMEA is not able to block housing for family members of performers who plan to attend. We encourage you to search directly with area hotels, short-term rentals, or on travel websites.

Congratulations on being a family member of a musician whose group has been invited to perform at the TMEA Clinic/Convention!

Performance Schedule

The convention mobile app features the full event schedule. Tap the “Performances” button to view the concert schedule by day.

Convention Badges

A convention badge is not required for concert entry. However, we encourage you to explore the incredible exhibit hall, which does require a badge. If you are not a designated chaperone as submitted by a performing group director, you can purchase a badge for $15 each at the Visitor registration booth. Directors submit performer and chaperone names in advance and pick up these badges as a group upon arrival. Chaperone badges will not be provided to music educators.

Questions?
