Course Description
Does it seem like you are only able to sing and entertain your youngest musicians or can they begin to learn foundational concepts? Early childhood is an age of play and discovery, but it is also a time rich with opportunity to cultivate cognitive development. Our classrooms should make the most of our time with them through the transformation of active movers into active learners and thinkers. In this online course, Lauren Bain will share activities and sequences for building beat competency and tuneful singing while channeling students’ sense of wonder and curiosity about music.
