Starting each fall in auditions across Texas, the best high school orchestra students are ultimately selected to rehearse and perform during the annual TMEA Clinic/Convention in one of three orchestras: Sinfonietta Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and the best mariachi students are selected to the TMEA All-State Mariachi Ensemble.
